The
Christian Life Community (CLC)
The Christian Life Community (CLC) is a worldwide community of lay adults of all ages, students, professionals and people from all walks of life, who receive ongoing, in-depth formation in small communities and have a desire to live a way of life based on Gospel values and to participate in Christ’s mission in today’s world, particularly with the poor and vulnerable.
We are contemplatives in action, following the spirituality and way of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuit Order, and we are committed to building a world where social justice, integral ecology, care for the most vulnerable, formation of young people, attention to families and living and sharing our Ignatian spirituality are priorities.
Our individual and communitarian vocation is one of full service and participation in society, as active citizens in the Church and world, using Ignatian discernment, and a strong sense of community and mission as our guiding principles.
CLC in Malta has been established since 1967, and as at April 2025 our national community consists of 261 members, divided into 23 small communities.
